This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
Important update!
- Catch Me FlashPad™ now Supports iPad
- Optimised for 64bit devices
- Supports iOS 11
Catch Me - FlashPad App is the digital version of the popular light-up handheld toy, and it successfully brings that fast-paced reflex-testing fun to the iPad. The concept is incredibly simple: red lights appear on a grid, and you have to tap them as quickly as possible while avoiding the green lights. It’s the ultimate 'easy to learn, hard to master' experience that can be enjoyed by everyone from young kids to adults looking to sharpen their reaction times.
While the physical FlashPad toy features multiple games, this app is dedicated specifically to the 'Catch Me' mode. It’s a pure test of speed and focus, with the difficulty scaling up as you maintain your streak. The app version has one advantage over the toy: it can track scores beyond 999, which provides an endless challenge for high-score hunters. It might be basic in its presentation, but as a quick arcade distraction or a way to keep your fingers nimble, it’s a solid and addictive little app.
Fast-Paced Intuitive Gameplay
Endless High Score Tracking
Optimized for 64-bit Devices
iPad Support Included
Simple Fun for Ages 6 to 106
As the game speeds up, the green lights will appear more frequently near the red ones. Focus your eyes on the center of the grid to better use your peripheral vision for upcoming red lights.
Tap the red circles as they light up. If you tap a green one or miss a red one, your game ends. The goal is to build the highest score possible.
It features the 'Catch Me' mode from the original FlashPad toy but is played on your touch screen.
I saw the original Flashpad game on TV for $27.50. I read the reviews which were very positive and saw that one of the reviews mentioned there was an app for the iPad. The original game pad has 4 different games, while this app only has the one. I'm giving the app 3 stars for the idea...but until they add more games I don't feel it deserves 5 stars...but it's a good start.
Although it never got the rename to what it’s called now (Chase Me), it is identical to the Original in gameplay and the fact it goes over the 999 score (which the actual FlashPad game ends at 999 ) is a really nice touch and it adds to the endless gameplay
Got the flash pad as a Christmas gift for our son and we all love it! Went to QVC to buy more but it was sold out and found the app. It's fun and completely addicting!
I have a Flashpad and love playing 'Catch Me' for its simplicity. I have developed a few styles of play to tackle each puzzle, and was disappointed that this app does not accommodate SLIDING from symbol to symbol. This app forces you to tap each symbol individually, which forces the player to play a very specific way. Please fix!
It's just like the real one except now I can take it with me everywhere
Would be fun if it had more levels, but you play for about 30 seconds and beat the whole thing. Please fix!! Until then I want my money back!
This is the worst game ever, a TOTAL WASTE OF 99c. I want my money back NOW! A TOTAL JOKE! The developers of this ought to be totally ashamed and I condemn Apple for supporting such GARBAGE. Mind you, Apple supports lots of garbage, anything to make money, DISGUSTING.
You only play one color.. and limited. Unless they fix it it's not worth it. :/
