Carnivores: Ice Age Pro is a unique entry in the hunting sim genre, trading traditional deer and ducks for mammoths and sabertooth tigers. The atmosphere is the standout feature; wandering through the snowy, prehistoric landscapes feels lonely and dangerous. You aren't just a hunter—you are also the prey, as many of these animals will turn and attack if they catch your scent.

The game requires a surprising amount of stealth. You have to pay attention to wind direction, noise, and your choice of weapon. Tracking a woolly rhino through a blizzard is a tense experience that feels much more 'survival' than 'sport.' It’s a great pick for players who want a hunting game with a bit more grit and a fantasy twist.

Stealth and Wind

Always check the wind indicator at the top of the screen. Prehistoric animals have a keen sense of smell; if you approach from downwind, they will smell you long before you see them. Crouch-walk through tall grass to minimize noise.

Hands down best mobile game, but serious issues on new devices

As far as I am concerned this is one of the highest quality mobile games I have ever played and even surpasses some double and triple a games on Console and PC. The hunting is entertaining and challenge can be adjusted Based not on some arbitrary difficulty setting but specific attributes such as send masking camouflage and a quarry radar. The number of weapons and creatures available is abundant and the predators give a good challenge to hunters when they are experienced enough to unlock them. I would say the only gameplay issues is that the later predators can be quite tank, critical hit areas rarely work if at all, and that specifically the crossbow weapon is extremely hit and miss. Other than that an excellent game. There is however a serious problem that should be noted if you were playing on a newer device. On older devices this game runs perfectly fine but I newer ones it is extremely prone to cause overheating and subsequent severe lag as low as five frames per second. I’ve never had the game out right crash but I wouldn’t be surprised if after an extended play session that’s what would occur. In short, the game itself is excellent, but it isn’t designed or optimized for newer devices so if you play on one be prepared for lagging heating issues. Please keep in mind this issue may or may not be fixed in subsequent updates.

And how is that you ask? With multiplayer , now hear me out I used to play this game all the time a few years back and I loved it but now I racked up 1000 points within a few hours leaving me feel empty, and within that emptiness I found something , an idea! And that idea is being able to play with a friend or two with a local play option . That and a difficulty setting, where there’s easy where one shot from a revolver can kill the yeti or hard where it’s more difficult then it is now for example . Idk I love this game and I wanna see where the devs take it from here. Have a good day -William

Please as dead in my reviews on Dino Hunter us the fans are asking no for a bug fix and update a game changer pun intended just update and stop making crappy tycoon games and work on actual good games like this add a Elsinore or Melinda tic version or style to make it rarer to find and multiplayer would be fun just update us on development of the game if you did not stop development and before you say anything I know your not a massive enterprise like nentendo or stuff like that but still listen to the fans and what they want. Peace out

Making this game better

This is an addicting game, but there are things you could add to make it better. What I mean by this is that you should add more features to the animals, such as their movements. I would even love it if there was an option to be one of the animals and you had to survive from a hunter, and you would be able to choose if you wanted the feature to be easy, normal, hard, or difficult. Also, it’s kind of a little bit frustrating when you kill an animal, and you can’t go very up close to it. This annoys me because I would like to get a very good close up to the animal that I killed so I could get a better look at it. I really hope you read this Tatem Games.

This and Carnivores: Dinosaur hunter are some of the best and most fun games out there. They have a quality that makes it fun to play over and over again, but it would be even better and more fun to play if there were more features, like multiplayer or more behavior in the animals. Great game but…

It doesn’t seem to be tracking my progress with the award system. It says I get the award but then it shows up as still available to achieve. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and restarting my phone. The points do accumulate though. Update: it seems the system decided to catch up and start tracking my progress.

I have played this game from a kid until now. It is truly an awesome game. It has lots of open worlds to explore and tons of creatures to hunt. It runs very smoothly and the graphics are good for when the game was made, I still like them though. The only problem is you need to pay for the full game, but it is worth it for sure. It is a game definitely worth getting.

I’ve had this game for a long time as long as i can remember. And i saw some videos with people that could like have jetpacks and the dinos were HUGE!!! I tried finding that game but i wish there was a mode that i can do that. And it’s very glitchy, i know it’s an old game but like i have like 1 fps after just a few seconds of playing.
