awsome kids game because im a kid

yes this game is so fun i loved it i think the perfect ages for it are seven and up why because theres some dark momments yes theres chuchels limbs getting pulled apart by a ladybug yes this game is weird also his body gets separated in half i know your thinking that the game must have blood in it lucky for you there isnt only pee in one level maybe i shouldn’t be spoiling you that much about this game in the game well you play as chuchel and your job in the game is to get a cherry your cherry and its complicating so you might sream of hardness even level 4 i think is hard you need your brain a lot to play this game and my favrouite levels are the ones that scream CHUCHEL! i call them troll levels and theres this naked rat heghog thing ask chatgbt for what the name of this character is or if your lazy give him a nickname byee!

Amazing, but for those who don’t know…

If you’ve played games from the great Amanita Design such as Botanicula and Machinarium, you’ll love this wonderful charming comedy game. Meet the professional cherry enthusiast and ugly-cute hairball, Chuchel! Inspired by the main designer, Jaromir, and his dog, this little rascal of fuzz madness is comedic, angry, and cheerful, all in one. But Chuchel isn’t the only thing here… Meet his curious and troublesome pink spiny friend, Kekel! Chuchel has an interesting history, though. Back in 2018, this scraggleball was black and orange. This wasn’t understood well by the public, and resulted in people saying that Chuchel’s original design was meant to be Blackface, a racial stereotype from the fifties. They then changed his design to one that is equally as cute and charming, with little negativity. Overall, this is a really charming and fun game that’s worth a play.

Loved it!!!

I almost bought this game back when it came out, but read through the reviews and a lot of them complained that it was more of a kids game. I recently found it on sale and figured it was worth $1 to try it out...and I’m so glad I did!! This is one of the most creative games I have ever played and I enjoyed every minute of it! I didn’t find it to be too childish or easy. I thought it was the perfect difficulty level...not too hard or frustrating, but still a bit challenging. I loved the humor, sounds and artwork, and I was sad when it ended. This is definitely a game I’ll replay in a year or two, once I’ve forgotten the puzzle solutions.

More of a movie

It was more of an interactive movie. Not entirely my thing. Really cute with decent art. Just more movie than game play. It’s worth giving a try. I love Amanita so I won’t complain too much but I prefer machinarium, botanicula & samorost 3 (felt the first s1&2 were mini games) & I enjoyed them more because they have more gameplay while telling a story. I wish apple would bring back Violett & The Cave. I was halfway through both before apple got rid of them 😡😤. If you’re looking for more games Life is Strange was wonderful as well as Broken Age. They’re highly recommended. I wish I wouldn’t have spent what I did on this game. I really wish I had found it on sale & paid $1 for it. Oh well it’s a learning experience. My kids will absolutely enjoy it. Side note just about all of Amanita D. Games have great soundtracks.

Just for kids

I was expecting a more challenging and compelling game, I really enjoyed all the other Amanita design games, the only games I have purchased from the store and World of Goo. I liked Chuchel but more for kids, it is a funny game, some scenes are really hilarious, but It took me 15 days to finish, and not because it was hard, it was because I didn’t even remember it was there. Not like Samorost, Machinarium or Botanicula, for those I couldn’t stop until the end. And the music was not that good either. The characters are cute for what I said, kids. I was disappointed when I realized that it was just that, a funny game. If you have children under 7 they will love this game.

Cute, Fun, and Challenging

This is an excellent game all the way through. It’s cute, whimsical, and entertaining for the whole family to appreciate. It’s not as challenging as some of the other games by Amanita, but it’s appropriate given that the age level is 4+. I think a lot of kids will actually struggle with a handful of the puzzles, so my recommendation is to play with your child rather than letting them play by themselves. In all honesty I played this game alone by myself and enjoyed it thoroughly. If you play this game, make sure you have headphones or the sound up. Sound makes this game more enjoyable.

Cute but

Update: I finished the game & its same the same all the way through as a few other reviewer’s stated, it’s more like a cartoon your watching, also kind of short compared to the other games.. It’s a good game, but.. I thought it would be more challenging & engaging like the other IOS games so I didn’t hesitate to buy it. I noticed it says ages 4 & up, well now I know why, it definitely feels more like a kids game to me. I wish I had waited before purchasing this one to make sure it was like the games I love to play, Botanica is still my favorite, I love how you can interact with every object whereas in this game you kinda poke & have 2 or 3 choices, & that feel like a challenge to me I guess.

Absolutely Love it!!

I adore Amanita Design games! This game was fun, so cute and I found myself smiling and laughing throughout the game. Chuchel was quiet the character, it was hilarious to hear him and the other character talking, adorable how angry he gets and the puzzles were very fun to solve. Not the hardest but I felt like that was part of its charm. As always, it’s so sad when they end because I wish I could play them forever. I can’t rave enough about all their games, Samorost 3 is hands down the best game I’ve ever played! Highly recommend and well work the money!! Can’t wait to see what they come out with next!
