Bug fixes and improvements, thanks for playing!
It’s fun. I like it. Cool game modes and maybe the best controls for a bowling game so far. But can’t we get a simple single player 10-frame mode, where we can play a normal game too? Call it single player, traditional, practice, I don’t care. I just don’t understand why so many bowling apps leave such a basic feature out.
If you’re going to attack my wallet at least be clear about. I’m not crazy about spending money to craft, clean and repair my bowling balls only to have to scrap them shortly afterwards. I’ve yet to fully understand the craft and core cards assignment to any particular ball. It’s exhausting to constantly have to keep maintaining your collection of balls many times having your 3-ball active rotation average less than 40% effectiveness. The conventional bowling scoring (League mode) and the well thought out Arcade mode are fun but suffer from the constantly degrading ball. Changes that would have to take place for me to spend another dime: (1) Scrap the ball maintenance nonsense. Sell balls with preset features and then sell Hook, Speed, Power, and Precision upgrades but only if the gamer has met a particular level threshold. (2) The developer’s revenue should be tied to games played not to advance the “pay to win” scramble. (3) Where are Friends Invites? Bots will have to exist in this type of game but I can’t play a friend in an exciting game of High Voltage or Shootout? You can always charge me. If you follow these guidelines you have a true 5-STAR game. If you stay as is you have a freemium nightmare.
Very fun game where you have 3 balls that you roll with different stats and each being able to upgrade to mkII and mkIII. I think when matching up with another player you should be able to see their overall W-L beside their name & maybe some sort of tournament event or something besides just league so far - Also think on your profile where it shows you Wins and losses and stuff, it should show your avg score from your games 47, 53, etc. - Also think during a match, clicking on your profile should bring up some stickers that you can click to taunt your opponent
PROS: (1) Challenging game mechanics particularly when your 3-Ball rotation has lost some effectiveness. (2) Very fun Arcade games (Shootout & High Voltage) (3) Quick games whether you’re playing Arcade or traditional CONS: (1) Not at all subtle money grab. Repairing and/or cleaning your bowling balls to get even a respectable percentage to take to your next game cost money. Putting up money in Arcade mode to earn tickets for new bowling balls cost money. Buying components to soup up your bowling balls cost money. (2) No Friends invites (3) Appears to be bot-driven with a possible low percentage of humans. I already sunk $20 in this game and with moderate play that might last me a week. You could theoretically stretch your dollars by playing in the no-fee traditional League mode which earns you money if you win but your bowling balls will require more maintenance and if you don’t pay for their upkeep you’ll have a 10% ball that might as well be a marble. The only way I would consider spending anymore money would be if you could invite friends to play.
Seemed fun. Then you realize balls need to be cleaned often- coins to clean. They have health and need to be repaired- gems needed to fix. You have to craft balls- mats which require purchasing. Also in league there are bots designed to beat you to get you to spend. Humans are consistent. Will bowl roughly the same each frame. But some games the opponent will start getting a 4. Then 7 or 8. Then get 2 strikes in the 3rd frame to just beat you. Greedy developers don’t get my time or money. Gameplay was fun, but it’s ruined by everything else. Don’t waste your time
Been playing for at least for two months now and just now I go to play and it kicks off the game , I tried rebooting my phone and still getting kicked. Any ideas?
I’ve played a lot of bowling games but the mechanics and controls for the ball on this particulate game seems needlessly difficult and confusing. No matter how you set the ball it always seems to curve in a weird way that makes it impossible to score well. Usually after a round or so you tend to pick up an understanding on how to move the ball to at least get a decent round , however I've played three games already and haven't even scored A SPARE yet!
Your bowling balls need repaired every other game, requiring diamonds or gems to fix them ultimately leading to a purchase just to play a game, its like your punished for playing in a attempt to have the player spend money. The game is fun, the arcade is a unique bowling mode where you battle another opponent and attack their hp. If you got rid of the repairing or fixing of the bowling balls I will redownload.
