Bug fixes and performance improvements.
Boo is a masterclass in minimalist puzzle design. It takes a very simple concept—painting a small ghost-like character to match a target image—and turns it into a brain-bending exercise in logic and sequence. You have various tools like hats, boxes, and belts that hide parts of the character, allowing you to layer colors in a specific order.
The game is incredibly charming. The 'Boo' character is adorable, and the 'pop' sound when you finish a level is immensely satisfying. It starts off incredibly easy, making it accessible for children, but the later levels will have even adults scratching their heads. It’s a perfect 'coffee break' game—no timers, no stress, just pure logical fun.
Cute and minimalist visual style
Over 20 unique brain-teasing levels
Relaxing gameplay with no time limits
Intuitive drag-and-drop mechanics
Suitable for both children and adults
The key to Boo is thinking backwards. If the target has a red stripe, you need to put on a tool that covers everything EXCEPT the stripe before dipping it into the red paint.
Don't be afraid to fail! You can reset the level instantly. Try different combinations of boxes and hats to see which parts of the Boo remain white after a dip.
While it features a ghost-like character, it's a logic puzzle game that's fun to play all year round!
Everything about this experience is delightful! The art, the music, the theme, the concept, the puzzles. It was challenging enough to make me think about concepts offline to complete levels. (Confession: once you figure out your strategy, the puzzles fall away quickly, but there are a variety of ways to solve them) I think to ramp up difficulty new elements would have to be added...like a mouth stencil, but this has still been entertaining enough to play through a couple of times already. Clearly it should be 31 levels because of Halloween. 😉 Spend the $1.99 to support the devs, and maybe this can be expanded. Finally, thank you for the brief reprieve from the crushing blows of life.
I played factory balls and sugar for the first time in 5th or 6th grade, I’m now about to be a college sophomore. I absolutely love your games. I beat this one in one sitting! I absolutely love the touch of the countdown to Halloween when you complete the daily puzzle. I was expecting this game to be great, as I am with all of your games, and it didn’t disappoint! This one might be my favorite so far because I love Halloween, but I also love the color series. Some of the levels are so difficult and it’s a fun challenge.
I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game! I didn’t want it to end. I was hooked! I LOVE puzzle games and this one was so satisfying! I would love more levels or a similar game to this. I have been searching for the same sort of game and not found anything close to this so creator if you see this please please please create more levels or another game with the same concept! Loved it and looked forward to each level! Now I look forward to the daily puzzle every day ☺︎
It’s super easy to pick up when you have a few mins to kill & stop when you’re due to perform a different task. It’s not super easy but also not impossible. Great exercise for my brain! As a hobby artist, it is very appealing. Kudos to the person(s) who thought of this! Very easily one of my top five apps! Great job, developers!
This is a very creative idea for a game and it gets quite tricky later on. Though you can eventually get the hang of it and solve each level almost the same way, I had a great time. Music is also great and the ads arent too intrusive, so you can actually play.
I wish there were more games like this! I love the simplicity of it and it’s actually harder than I anticipated. Some levels I solve easily and others I have to work at for a while. Only thing I would add is maybe a hint button lol! Please keep adding levels!
The game is so original and incredibly difficult and frustrating. You have to be able to thing backwards and forwards and backwards again. Did I mention some levels are really hard? But oh so good!
My boyfriend and I found this app online and were so excited to see that there’s an app with more levels!!! It’s extremely challenging after awhile but so satisfying when you recreate that pumpkin. Highly recommend! I can’t believe it’s not already more popular.
