Bomber Captain is a surprisingly tense flight combat game that puts you in the cockpit of a B-17 Flying Fortress during World War II. Unlike typical arcade shooters, it focuses on a mix of navigation, defense, and precision bombing. You have to tilt your device to maneuver the massive aircraft through flak and enemy interceptors, while tapping the screen to man the machine guns and fend off Axis fighters. The historical missions, ranging from U-boat docks to government buildings, provide a solid sense of progression and stakes.
What really sets it apart is the damage system; losing an engine or a crew member isn't just a health bar drop—it fundamentally changes how the plane handles. It can be quite punishing, especially on higher difficulties where the sky is filled with ME109s. Tue May 20 2014 TheChartyThis game is pretty fun, but it is quite simple and has so-so graphics. It also needs a map so you can go back and play other levels. Also, maybe there should be an option to choose different planes and even have a small fleet. This changes would make it worth the $1 I spent.

Tue Jul 19 2022 BETICUSMAGNUSI paid the $.99 and on the download, it said that it needed to be updated. So I pressed “keep“ and waiting for the download to continue for the update. So far it’s a big nogo. This may be a rip off, maybe not. Keep your eye on your money and the game.
