Blocky Roads is what happens when you combine the building fun of Minecraft with the hill-climbing physics of games like Hill Climb Racing. The result is surprisingly addictive. The best part of the game isn't just the racing—it's the 'Car Editor.' Being able to build your own vehicle block-by-block and then see how its weight and shape affect its performance on the track is brilliant.

The levels are beautifully designed in a 'voxel' style, and they get progressively more difficult, requiring you to upgrade your engine and tires. It’s a physics-based racer, so managing your fuel and not flipping over is the name of the game. It’s lighthearted, looks great, and has that 'just one more try' quality. Whether you're playing through the quest to find your lost farm animals or just building a crazy-looking truck, there's a lot of content here for a mobile game.

Mastering the Car Editor

When building your car, remember that physics matter! A car that is too top-heavy will flip easily on hills. Try to keep the center of gravity low. Use lighter blocks for the body to save fuel, but make sure your wheelbase is wide enough for stability. As you find more 'lost items' in the world, you’ll unlock new block types and colors to make your vehicle even cooler.

Keep an eye on your fuel gauge! It’s often better to coast down hills rather than holding the gas. Upgrade your 'Engine' for speed and 'Traction' to help with steep climbs. Each track has hidden chests and farm animals—finding these is essential for completing the story and unlocking the legendary 'Master Car'.

I've been playing this game since it's inception quite a few years ago, and it's still the game that I fall back on when all others stagnate. Maybe for me it's the crafting of custom built vehicles with every option you could desire in a block building game. Only wish you could increase/decrease the size of the wheels. Anyhow, it's a greatly entertaining game that you really shouldn't miss.

I’d say this game is A-ok to me because all you do is you go on adventures in your blocky car & blocky body & get more coins along the way too. I’ve been having a happy experience with this game so far & it’s been pretty good. The one thing that would be my favorite is being able to make your own vehicle & driving with it, I also love the fact when your building your car, you can make it have a siren if you’d like it. When I first got this game, I thought it was some sort of Minecraft rip off, but I realized it was probably a little based off of Minecraft, & that’s ok. Honestly the only thing that really does bug me, which isn’t that much at all, would be that there could be more outfits for your character when driving along the way, honestly the only thing I’m asking is can we make our own character to drive along the way? It’d be fun for people to be creative & make their own characters, just driving in their vehicle, but aside from that, I’d say this game would be a really fun game for anyone to play. P.S. I like the fact you can take care of animals on the farm when taking a break from your adventuring, love it. It was my favorite thing to do when I was little, & I think other kids would enjoy it too.

I’m addicted to this game! But, with the custom cars, whenever I’d try to get on to the cars catalog of custom cars, it never works. I’ve tried everything! It just says refresh over and over and OVER AGAIN. If you see this then PLEASE fix it! I really loved this game!

Might be my favorite game on iOS. Challenging enough but not frustrating. Motivating enough but not stressful. When I need a break to be engaged but relax, this is the game I have come back to for years.

Blocky Road is fun and challenging and it is so much fun to create your own cars and upgrade them! I enjoy playing all the levels and bonus levels even after I finished them. My only recommendation is that you put in more levels and more cars to get. Overall though Blocky Road is an awesome game!😻😻

Great app! I like how you can make your own car, and then use it. However, the tractor really likes to flip over forwards... I also saw someone who had the same problem... so plz make it better!

What a amazing game. I can’t stop playing, I love it 😻 it’s so cool, though it is sort of a copy off of hill climb racing but better. I used to play hill climb until I found this game is like the same but I like this game better
