Block Out: Color Sort Puzzle is a refreshing take on the popular liquid-sorting genre, replacing water with tactile, 3D blocks. The objective is simple: reorganize the blocks across various containers until each tube contains only one color. Block Out is a masterclass in 'zen' gaming. We’ve seen a thousand sorting games on the App Store, but the tactile 'clack' of the blocks and the clean 3D physics make this version feel much more premium. It’s the kind of game that occupies just enough of your brain to stop you from worrying, without being so difficult that it causes frustration.
The difficulty curve is very gentle, which is exactly what you want from a casual puzzler. The levels are short enough to be played in line at the grocery store, but the 'just one more' factor will often have you sitting on your couch for an hour clearing world after world. If you’re looking for a low-stakes way to keep your brain sharp, this is an excellent choice.

Tips & Walkthrough
Always try to keep one tube completely empty as long as possible. Use it as a temporary 'holding bay' to move blocks around and free up the bottom colors of other stacks.
Gameplays
In levels with more than 8 colors, focus on completing the most dominant color first to clear out a tube early, giving you more space to sort the rarer colors.

Wed Feb 11 2026 DK3CPO122ATIt would be nice if the game started at a level much more like the ad or gave the player that option. I dislike having to start at a baby level and being forced to play lots of stupid simple levels before getting to the fun levels. But
Horrible
Sat Mar 07 2026 RnsrunyonGame doesn’t explain any of the helpers. Didn’t even know there were any. Goes straight to difficult levels without sufficient time to learn each new thing they throw at you. Kept losing a level, which is why I deleted the app, because I didn’t understand what I was supposed to do. Oh, and it took me to the “store” and every time I went back to the main screen and hit the button to play the next level it sent me back to the store over and over and over again. I don’t know how this game got such high railings. It was frustrating, irritating and definitely not relaxing at all.

Sun Mar 01 2026 Monica047I never write reviews but this needed it. So the pros is that the game has great coin collections, colors and cool ways to get rid of the pieces. Also NO ads which is great! The MAJOR con is that it’s the same 20levels no matter what. They will say you’ve done 500 levels but that means you just beat the same 20 levels 40 times. They NEED more levels. It’s not a challenge at ALL beating the same levels. It needs a MAjor upgrade on NEW levels. Like there should at least be 100 different levels so not beating the same ones over and over again
Games should be fun

I refuse to spend money for coins to buy extra time to keep working on these harder puzzles. So I get five chances to figure out a puzzle and then have to shut the game. There’s no option to go back and play other levels for awhile. If you’re stuck on a level, it’s game over… or spend actual money. Deleting this app and finding some other puzzle game.

Wed Mar 04 2026 CdbhenI'm stuck on a level and no matter what I do I can't get beyond this level. I'm going to deleted the app and play somewhere else since your app is failing me to play. You might want to check it out. I'll bet no one else has had this problem but I have lost the level at least 20 times. I find it hard to believe since I have made it this far with no problems but now I have a huge problem and I'll bet you'll tell me there is nothing wrong with your app. Wish you would fix it but I know you won't!

Sat Feb 28 2026 Groban girlI love the game. It goes from simple then gradually gets harder which is nice for beginners. Two things I don’t like are: 1. No sound when blocks are being destroyed. I love sounds. 2. Can’t change player name. It always tells me I don’t have internet connection which is not true. I feel these are things that should’ve been taken care of before launching app. Please fix these issues. Thank you.
Very limited
Thu Feb 26 2026 jayjay1122Game is well made in terms of behavior and appearance, but it doesn’t have a lot of depth. As others have said, it just repeats levels with less and less time to complete. My biggest gripe, is the “daily reward” is ALWAYS coins. Just to prove a point, on a supposedly randomized board, I selected the same box every day for 2 weeks and never got “tools,” only ever coins.

Sat Feb 28 2026 Str8LydiaI have played numerous games but this game is aggravating. Hard to get through each level unless you have help. 900 coins is too much to get a power up. I will not spend money on a game to advance to the next level. This is why I will delete and move on. Sorry not sorry. The easy puzzles have way too much time and the hard puzzles have less time. Insane!
