We gave things a polish so you can play without pause. Update now for smoother gameplay!
Blob Hero is a fantastic 'Vampire Survivors' style roguelike that simplifies the genre without losing the addictive 'one more run' hook. Playing as a squishy, evolving blob that absorbs powers is a perfect thematic fit for the genre. The progression within a single level is fast, and the variety of weapons—from spinning blades to lightning bolts—makes every run feel unique.
The controls are buttery smooth, which is vital for kiting massive hordes of enemies. While the visual style is simple and minimalist, it allows for hundreds of enemies to be on screen at once without any lag. It’s a great 'entry-level' roguelike for people who find the more complex titles a bit overwhelming. It’s punchy, colorful, and very rewarding when you finally become an invincible, screen-clearing blob of destruction.
Smooth one-handed controls
Dozens of unique skills and fusions
Satisfying horde-clearing action
Progressive meta-upgrades
In the first few minutes, try to focus on leveling up one specific weapon rather than taking three different ones. A level 4 'Blade' is much more effective at keeping the horde back than four level 1 skills.
Never stand still! Always move in large circles around the edge of the horde. This draws the gems into a neat trail behind you, making it easy to scoop them up and level up multiple times in one go.
Yes, every few minutes a giant boss will appear with unique attack patterns that require you to change your kiting strategy.
Dear, Rollic Games. I highly recommend you to ignore the 1 star ratings. This game is good but it is just ads. Every game, Every time, Every week, I find I game with ads. I would rate this app 4.5 stars! It’s not good it’s awesome. I recommend you to play this. It’s satisfying. If you do not want a single ad then you can turn off your wifi, but they sometimes have good offers with ads. Ex) 3 powers no 1, 2x coins, and others. This is the 3rd best app. There ads also don’t clickbait and tell the truth! If you did not play this game yet let me tell you. First, you start with a random ability. Second, you see lots of mobs coming to attack you. Third, it starts to get harder and harder each round. Last, A boss appears and your goal is to get to the final map. Once you get to the final map, there is no goal, it’s still fun after you are done with the goal. I highly recommend playing this game! What do you think about my review? Thanks for listening From, Elijah Cruz
Game is fun time killer at times. But there doesn’t seem to be a limit to how many enemies load and they will just load around your character so you will get swarmed to death even with a decent build. The game has ads galore, there’s a constant ad at the bottom, you will level and select a upgrade which at times will load an ad for 15 seconds, chests will load bonuses which you get ads for those are 30-40 seconds, randomly in idle of the match you get loaded to an ad, sometimes multiple. Not sure if the game itself is buggy or if it’s the amount of ads that cause the bugs. A common bug is you will be moving then stop moving and have to tap the screen to get moving again. Many times you just freeze. I was almost done with chapter 4 (on the boss) was dealing with the swarm of enemies and then got loaded to an ad. Game crashed after several minutes of waiting for the “close ad” button which never came. I was going to buy the “no ads” but based on the reviews it’s false advertisement and does nothing. There’s also a shop icon before the match which doesn’t seem to do anything.
I got this game quite a while ago and quickly opted to pay for no ads because they got really annoying after a while hahah. I knew this would be a game I’d end up coming back to a lot and it was just much better to play without the random ads. You can still watch ads to help get more items if you want, which sometimes I’ll do. But anyways. They recently had a huge overhaul of the game and I enjoy it even more now! I used to have all the characters (blobs) maxed out and was pretty OP, but the new update made the game a LOT more immersive and engaging and added some really fun ways to improve your character! :) I’m excited to see what else they end up adding to improve the experience. I love playing this game when I’m bored or just wanna waste some time because the chapters can take a while with all the waves and ads if you watch them. Highly recommend. :)
I love this game!!! It’s a lot of fun to play!!! Been playing for a few days now. I do agree with the rewiew I read about having different upgrades the higher level you go also I think there should be an option when you level up if you don’t like the upgrades you should get at least one chance or even with a video to reshuffle the upgrades. One big bug I wish they would fix is the ads and game crashing. I paid for the no ads but still do some adds to get more upgrades and they always seem to crash right at the end and I have restart the game. Also a few times I’ve almost beaten a level and CRASH so aggravating. Otherwise it’s a great game to play!!! Up to level 4!!!! And playing for days there is no way to beat level 4!!!!!
I started playing this game about a week ago and got addicted playing it for hours at times but there are a couple things that could be improved upon. First is the offline income, I payed about 500+ in game coins to upgrade the income button only to realize that whenever I got on I never received the offline income coins. Throughout the 13 or so times I have played the game I have only gotten by offline income twice. Next is the power ups, the game starts you off with a variety of power ups to choose from to clear the chapter however every time I clear a chapter I don’t get any new abilities or power ups which makes gameplay kind of bland because it seems like there is nothing new. Lastly the chapters don’t change much in appearance and it is kinda hard to get coins. Every time I clear a chapter the only thing that changes visually is the background, from blue to green to yellow so it doesn’t make me very excited when I get to the new level just to see that only the color of the area has changed. The coins spawn almost randomly as you are killing the entities I’ll see a coin just randomly appear but it would help if coins randomly generated across the maps as well to make progress quicker because I’ve been struggling with chapter 4 for a while and when it seems I am getting close I still will loose even after spending all the coins I get it doesn’t help a whole lot because per round I can only upgrade one to two abilities so it doesn’t make much of a difference I have even tried using different abilities in each round I play but it still doesn’t do much. It would be nice to have random generation of coins because then I can upgrade my stats easier and it I will be able to make more progress quicker also again your offline income doesn’t work so my idea could work as an alternative where upgrading it could give a higher chance of coins spawning per map. Also I would love it if I could go back to previous chapters as well because if I want to grind for coins it would help me then I could control the pace of my gameplay better.
I think it is important to say that this is a completely biased (obviously) opinion after playing the game for a decent amount of time. Although I do think this game has potential to be awesome, I do have some concerns I would like to present as well as what the devs have done a great job on. Pros: • Colors and assets in the game are very vibrant, and fun • Practical controls, and very simple rules • Good way to pass time • Engaging for all ages, and minimum amount of violent effects if at all. Cons: • Not necessarily a big issue, but since there is so much going on in the game, your phone may start to warm up quite a bit and use more battery (may just be a personal issue that I have noticed) • Micro-transactions are the largest complaint I have with the game. I ended up paying to remove ads for the sake of writing the review, and to further support the devs for making this game. It is really the only thing I would recommend paying for because everything else can be played without use of tickets. I hope the players as well as the devs find this review important. It would be neat if the devs added a co-op mode, and endless rounds. Just an idea but definitely not needed. Thanks!
This game is literally ad watching simulator. There’s only 3 micro tranny’s which are the one to turn off the unasked for ads, and two characters. I’d make an option to pay for no ads for midgame level ups or altogether. The aura’s with and other close range stuff with magnet is meta. I watched tons of ads to level up the coin multiplyer to make things easier for me and I like it that way. The bosses are too easy after about level one or two. The game got really boring when there weren’t any new weapons to unlock, which I got to after 8 hours. The weapon you get rewarded with after beating the ninth boss doesn’t even do damage. I should definitely have watched enough ads alone to make it profitable for you guys to add more content. You could add ranged enemies and enemies with fire/ice/wind to make the game less one dimensional too. But yeah, all in all, I had a good time.
So with the recent update that added talents, items and more it helps so much. I can grind a lot faster. The only thing I don’t like is that after you get projectile count lvl 2 it just stops appearing. Now yea I will admit it it was broke. Since you could make anything 100x more powerful but it would just be kinda cool to have a mode dedicated to grinding that has no chapters just waves after waves of enemies. As well as a save run feature. Please it would make the game so much more interesting. Since I could keep grinding one run forever. As well in the grinding mode make projectile count back to how it was so you got it often and could get stupid levels of it. Thank you have a great day and thank you for the countless hours of fun-Rogue
