For anyone who actually wants to walk into a casino and not just throw their money away, this app is a must. It’s basically a digital flashcard system for Blackjack. I love the 'instant correction' feature; if I hit when I should have stood, a red box pops up explaining why. It builds muscle memory much faster than just looking at a printed chart.
The app is very utility-focused, which I appreciate. No flashy animations or 'buy more coins' prompts—just pure strategy training. If you can get your accuracy up to 100% in this app, you'll be playing at the highest possible level for a non-counter. Simple, effective, and professional.
Instant feedback on every move.
Customizable rule sets (S17 vs H17, etc.).
Comprehensive strategy charts included.
Performance statistics and history.
Clean, minimalist design for focused learning.
Turn on 'Hints' when you first start. The app will suggest the best move (Hit, Stand, Double, or Split) for your current hand against the dealer's up-card. As you become more confident, turn hints off and try to play a 'Perfect' session where you make zero strategic errors.
The gameplay is a simulated Blackjack table where the focus isn't on winning chips, but on making the correct move. The app tracks your 'Accuracy Rate'—a metric of how often you followed the mathematically optimal strategy.
This app focuses specifically on Basic Strategy. While it's a prerequisite for counting, it does not include counting-specific drills.
This is a great app—does exactly what it says. If you are looking to learn basic strategy you can’t go wrong with this app. I wish there was a way to turn off strategy hints AND give an alert/warning if I make the wrong move. Yes, I can watch the steak, but then I have to remember the previous hand and look it up. Maybe make this a setting?
For Developer: The strategy for 16 says to hit on dealer showing 7 through Ace but the hint steak drops back to zero when you lose. I also think you should rename “hint streak” to “strategy streak”. It would make it easier to understand what it is counting. Also it is hard to understand the split hands. I would recommend only one arrow pointing to the other hand. Example, when seeing the left hand show arrow to right and vis versa. And maybe labeling.
This app made blackjack strategy finally click for me. The hints explain when to hit, stand, split, or double, and the instant feedback helps you learn fast. I like being able to turn hints off and test myself. Simple, focused, and great for beginners.
One great change would be if there was an option for the streak count to be counting a streak of perfect strategy plays instead of wins - losses are gonna be a given so a wins streak count doesn’t give you much information
Hit on 16 against dealer 10 and it reset my strategy streak.
