Played for quite a while now, and I really enjoy the game play; it's nice to not have to frantically try to get one of a small number of Bingos split between however many players. You get 30 balls, and the number of Bingos you get is what you get. Much more relaxing and fun. You're still competing against thousands of other players; your score is added to that day's tournament points, and it refreshes every 24 hours. There is always something to do if you want to change it up a bit. The mini-games aren't terribly challenging or stressful, and are a nice way to win a few power-ups and club balls with minimal effort. I could go on about all the ways I love this game, but OH EM GEE the sound effects drive me BONKERS. Their version of TA-DAAAAAAAAAAA!!! that can unavoidably be heard over and over and over with weird out-of-tune trumpets is enough to send anyone to the loony bin. Your only alternative is to play in silence. Also, what's with the boomy rolling kettle drum sound? Oh- and when you are playing and tap a number, it sounds like you dropped an accordion from about 4'. This is also painfully repetitive. There are several other sounds (about six?) that are heard throughout the game that almost ruin the experience for me. Am I the only one who cares about the sound effects? Really?? Please, dear developers, change the sound effects before I lose my mind! Otherwise--great game!! Oh, except the witch-pot-color-thingie and the moving bushes that make galloping sounds while they move...Thanks!!!

Wed Dec 23 2020 teblaizeYour purchases may be taken when the game glitches and restarts. When that happens if you do not have a video of it happening you won’t get your money back. Secondly, do yourself a favor and record the game. At the end from time to time it will say “you missed one” to avoid giving you the bonus. However, it will be a number that was never called. Thus another way to cheat you. From time to time you will win prizes only to later see they were not added. Basically, this game is a guise to steal from you. You may think you will only play the free version but then buy a cheap $4.99 pack. They will eliminate the benefits gained with the purchase so quickly as if they stuck their hands in your pocket and snatched your money with dishonesty and trickery. They are high tech pickpockets! Update: in all fairness the customer service representative did refund me my lost points and lost gems sometime after I wrote this review. So I now give them 3 stars instead of the one star. I can’t give 4/5 because that interaction did happen and it was upsetting. Plus the game did glitch! Instead of asking me if I had a photo of what occurred the responder should have simply stated they would look in to the matter based on the information I gave them. Having a photo of the exact moment a computer glitches is impossible bc you would have to have known when it would happen. Or you would have had to been recording your game. That initially upset me a great deal. I’m sure some people scam but I would not lie to gain $2.50.

Tue Oct 04 2022 Zaphod01I love playing this game because there are clubs where u meet really nice ppl. That being said there have been so many issues. Starting with the months that customer support would never respond to ppl. We couldn’t get the FB gifts at all. Well they finally fixed that & it seemed to be good for awhile. Then it seems like every time there’s an update they pull something where they limit the bingos you get credit for. This update so far is just another annoyance. Now it costs more tokens & barely get any bingos. Now the one good thing I can say is there have been times that an error or crash has happened & support emailed w/ me & gave me what I lost or made up for the lost things. But I know how much they have to be making off us. Each season Pass (which only lasts a month) is $20 per person. Then there’s the extras like pink tickets, etc. And no you technically don’t have to buy anything. If you don’t pay it’s not very fun to play. Which is fine to a point. I’ve came thisclose to quitting several times. The only reason I stay is the friends. If you don’t have help from others it’s almost impossible to get anywhere. And you don’t get ahead unless you aggressively trade, barter, beg. This is supposed to be fun & relaxing. And overall it is a lot of fun & has great storylines. But maybe ease up on screwing over your customer base.
It’s fun but not the same bingo

Before you use to be able to play any level card with rewards for free now the game is like all other bingo games, where you have to use special coins to play the other card levels. It’s so much harder to get club balls and finish collections, the game is super glitchy and will freeze in the middle of your game now. And don’t even get me started with support it’s a joke and they do nothing to return the rewards nor points you’ve lost anymore and that’s IF you reach someone. It’s hard to get power ups without buying them same for the blue coins. I do not like the new update at all and wish it would go back to what made me download and live the game before. My original review is at the bottom So I’ve been playing the game for about 4 months now and I love it, ive gotten friends and family to play it and join my team (setitoff still have space for new players). Definitely not like other bingo games there’s tons of ways to get power ups and different tournaments to play every week. My only problem with the game is glitches with the new update and not receiving the rewards and points, I’ve had to contact support multiple times about this. And the last thing is the fact that multiple tournaments go on and you don’t get the rewards for one unless you go into that tournament and press play. It’s very annoying to have to play one tournament but not get credit for the others unless you click play in each one, you’re losing rewards each time

I’ve been playing this game for quite a while, have lots of fun, and have been fortunate enough to even win some first place awards. Aside from that though I have to agree with sentiments that are repeated often in reviews here. Club play is next to impossible. I’ve noticed that club balls regularly come up with numbers I need for a bingo but they never get daubed. What’s up with that? I also hate that you can never complete collections because the game chooses to give you duplicates instead of letting you win the collection. I have made more purchases than I should have. What I’ll say about that is Bingo Story can be quite pricey if you get swept up in the passion of the game, but the return for your purchases is peanuts for pearls. Highway robbery! I agree that you pretty much have to be playing this game 24/7 to achieve anything. Kudos for the graphics. I’d like to see an auto daub boost as when it gets near the end of the game I find it difficult toggling back and forth between screens fast enough and wind up missing out on bingos, power ups, and boosts. This has all the elements of a great game and could easily become the favorite of bingo players if the issues that get repeated in reviews often were addresses.

Thu Jun 11 2020 Zooby42Got instantly removed from a club because I refused to change my in-game name to suit what they want. My name isn’t a curse word, derogatory term, or anything offensive. And a lot of the clubs require you to have Facebook and be active all the time and do exactly what they say but they don’t explain their rules. I created my own club because trying to join one is impossible unless I dedicate my existence to this app. Another thing, the power ups in the game don’t work right. First few games, it was going well, power ups worked when I got them, cards had multiple bingos, all the works. Now, it keeps saying “inventory full” on the power ups I earn and that effectively ensures I get no other power ups for the rest of the game because that one powerup can’t be used. What inventory is it even talking about? And why can’t the powerup just be scrapped if I can’t use it? That leads up to my next problem, this game does not explain itself beyond the fact that it’s bingo. It doesn’t tell you what the power ups do or why they won’t activate at times. It explains absolutely nothing about the point of clubs. It only lets me join tourneys. And it had a number highlight during my first few games to help me but it turned them off with no warning so the next game, I’m sitting there looking for the indicator that I got used to. The indicator should be turned off after people get the hang of the game but a WARNING THAT IT WONT BE THERE would be nice.
Outrageous costs
Thu Dec 08 2022 played 2 yrsAdding that Clipwire hasn’t responded to 4 reported crashes/game freezes in 3 days. No reimbursement for losses! These issues are occurring daily and Clipwire has done absolutely NOTHING to correct the programming errors. It’s been happening for well over 10 months!!! I’d bet this review isn’t even posted cuz it’s negative and they manage to ‘lose’ negative reviews!!! Besides the exorbitant increase in cost and totally poor support responses it was a fun game. I‘ve been playing for over 2years and my patronage to their game means nothing! Save your money people! Find a different bingo game that actually cares about its players. They say they want your ideas on how to improve the game but they are only paying lip service!!! Clip wire increased cost to play 200% and took away the one free game that helped players to complete puzzles and bingo pass missions. They have throttled the game rewards so you can only win a specific amount no matter what you spend! Also the game crashes, 99% of the time when game rewards are being given. Poor response from support causing me to loss credits and powerups daily! Then IF they reimburse your loss it’s only a portion of what you actually lost. If you are willing to pay a lot of money, you will make ‘some’ progress in the game, but if you compare what you lose to what you paid you will see you have been robbed by clip wires greedy business practices!
Don’t waste your time or energy

Truly enjoyed it until they started making mini changes that benefited themselves not the players they took away Free games was the start of losing a lot of good players. Then many more changes has came about. There is so many of us that attempted a boycott and efforts to get their attention because multiple contacts to support gets nowhere. You get the same computer generated response with no one following up with any explanations. they have put controls down on this game so much you can’t even get a bingo if you’re lucky you might get one for 160 tokens. Their agreed has overcome their care for the players that support them. They had a big glitch in the system during Christmas/new years break and since then they have put a lockdown so much on the game to try to recoup their losses that you can’t get anywhere on the game anymore no matter the amount of money you spend. They also do not consider your suggestions. They say they will pass it on to the team and nothing ever changes. I asked for them to add a feature to allow you to send a message to each of your team members instead of having to do it one by one, I have asked for this for four years, and they still yet to do it. In the beginning, they were great support team and a good game, but not anymore.
