Bible Word Search is a niche but well-executed word game that will find a dedicated audience among those looking for faith-based entertainment. The puzzles are themed around specific books of the Bible, famous characters, and key scripture verses. It’s a great way to engage with the Word in a lighthearted, casual format. The UI is simple and high-contrast, making it very accessible for older players.
While the core gameplay is a standard word search, the inclusion of 'Scripture Unlocks'—where completing a puzzle reveals a full verse to reflect on—adds a nice touch of depth. It's a quiet, contemplative game that avoids the flashy distractions of more aggressive puzzle titles. It serves its purpose well as a tool for relaxation and spiritual focus.

This game is fun, relaxing, and I love to do the quizzes, I feel like I’m learning about God. The different games where you fill in the blanks, and I open my bible and read more and learn new things. I have only one little complaint 😬I’ve noticed new ads, these ads are the ones from different companies stating “ I’ve unlocked or won gift card for X Amount of money, fine and good, but I’m not interested, and the thing is there is no way to get out of the ad and back to the game, no X appears, nothing, I sit staring at it … till enough time has passed and I figured out this ad isn’t going away, only thing I can do is exit out of the game the swipe it away, the go back into the game, it’s annoying, and frustrating, I was going to delete the game but I love it too much, and really am hoping that these particular ads can fix this because it’s like they trying to pressure you into claiming the prize which I did one time it leaves the game to website and you don’t win anything it’s a catch to it, I don’t complain about ads, I know they are necessary and keeps the game free, I’m all for it, but please can the pushy ads with no escape button be eliminated 😟🤔🤦♀️🙃
So mom wants me to play a bible game before church on day and I saw this so I checked it out if ur kids know how to read and ur a Christian this is very suggestive. Amazing to have an opportunity to play such a cool game and if ur not a believer then u might just be one after u play this game. It gives u bible verses where you collect puzzle pieces after you do word-searches. I hope u guys like the game.
The reason I was disappointed in this app is because it has words like Merlin and Merlin was a magician, and not mentioned in the Bible, and it speaks clearly about being against that type of anti-religious context instead of using Biblical words this app forgets that aspect. The Bible describes beliefs that assert faith alone & guarantees eternal security in heaven. but evidently they overlooked that when producing this app. One would think this app is meant for Christians and written by Christians, but it is not. If it were, it wouldn’t refer to Christmas as Xmas among many other examples I found while playing. This is my opinion and you don’t have to believe what I believe. I’m just describing why I gave the rating I did. God bless all of you. Amen
When pressing on extra words, instead of it saying extra, it says EXTAR WORDS. Too many ads are in the game, in which you have to watch every single one. Also, there are many grammatic errors in the questions asked to the player. Overall, it’s a pretty relaxing game, though, these errors tend to be slightly annoying. One more thing, as seen that this is a Christian game, I do not like the fact that Christmas is said as Xmas. This is totally uncalled for and totally wrong, please change that! (NOTE: turn phone on airplane mode to disable all ads in the game).
I like the game but haven’t gotten into the quizzes enough to know if the increase in the challenge or not. You have a very deceptive ad on this website. It comes Up & says you must update to continue, but the update is not for your game & in fact is not an update at all but a trick to get you to download a competitors game. & it doesn’t go away, until I completely get out of the game & start over which is enough to make me delete your game if it continues! In addition, I wish there was an option in the tools to contact you, es. When a quiz answer could be more accurate. Thank you! LouMsh
I love the fact that you can go in and look for words. I also like the fact that they ask you questions based off the Bible. one of the things that I did not like is that one of the words, Xmas why takeout Christmas and use Xmas I just feel like that was not right at all and it did not sit right with me at all, so therefore I am deleting this app. I wish that I could I enjoy it but an ad after every puzzle is ridiculous and some of the ads played after a completed puzzle is inappropriate! Hate to delete it but I rather read my bible at least there aren’t any ads there.
I am updating my review! The developer never responded regarding putting CHRIST back into CHRISTMAS. I am now deleting this game and encourage others to do so as well. What message are we sending if we accept this. I actually do enjoy this game, but I have now played 122 levels and just had Xmas for the THIRD TIME! Will no longer play this game until YOU PUT CHRIST BACK INTO CHRISTMAS! It would be nice if you developers would respond! I just finished level 8, and I am very disappointed that you substituted Xmas for Christmas. I am enjoying this game, but you “claim” to love God and need to fix this right away. Christ is the whole reason that Christmas even exists. Even my secular word search game uses the full name of Christmas. Others have commented on this as well. Please remedy this soon, so I won’t have to delete this game. There are also a lot of ads, however, many games do the same thing. It would be nice to have fewer ads, but since I am not willing to pay for no ads, then I will be fine.
I think I played about 20 minutes. I did enjoy the game, but after every puzzle or quiz, there was an ad. Way too many ads. The scripture blocks that were revealed after completing a task had some very small print and sometimes not enough contrast between those small words and the background, so it was very hard to read them. I will probably try playing at least once more, but I’m thinking at this point I may delete this game.
