Game level adjustment
Beat World is a vibrant rhythm game that feels like a party in your pocket. It takes the 'falling note' formula and injects it with a huge variety of modern electronic music. The visual style is very 'neon-synthwave,' which matches the high-energy tracks perfectly. Unlike some rhythm games that can feel overly clinical, Beat World focuses on the 'flow' of the music.
The difficulty levels are well-spaced, ranging from 'Casual' for those who just want to enjoy the song, to 'Master' levels that will challenge even the most seasoned rhythm gamers. The feedback when you hit a note—the flashes, the haptic vibration—feels great. While the song library is excellent, some of the best tracks are locked behind progression or currency, but the 'Free to Play' experience still offers plenty of content to keep you tapping along to the beat.
Extensive library of licensed tracks
Multiple difficulty settings per song
Stunning neon visual effects
Competitive global rankings
Use headphones for the best experience! Focus on the rhythm of the percussion rather than just the visual cues. For 'Long Notes', ensure you hold until the very end of the tail to get a 'Perfect' rating.
Notes fall from the top of the screen in time with the music. Tap the hit zone as they arrive. Blue notes are single taps, while yellow notes require a hold and green notes require a slide.
Beat World currently only supports its built-in library of curated and licensed tracks to ensure the levels are perfectly synced to the beat.
