Battle Through The Heavens RPG is a high-octane martial arts epic that translates the popular 'Xianxia' (cultivation) genre perfectly to mobile. As an expert in RPG systems, I was impressed by the 'Cultivation' mechanic—it’s not just about leveling up, but about 'ascending' through different realms of power, which feels much more rewarding than a standard XP bar.
The combat is flashy and satisfying, featuring screen-filling special moves and a deep 'Flame' system that allows for extensive build variety. The story follows the source material closely, providing a sense of progression from an underdog to a master of the heavens. While the UI can be a bit crowded with icons (typical for this genre), the core gameplay is robust and offers hundreds of hours of content for dedicated players.

Spend your 'Qi' wisely. It is often better to consolidate your current level and upgrade your 'Heavenly Flames' than to rush to the next cultivation realm with weak equipment.
Chain together your 'Dou Qi' skills to perform devastating combos. Timing your dodges is essential for dodging boss area-of-effect (AoE) attacks.
Yes, the game features sect wars, cooperative raids, and a competitive arena mode.
I wanted to see team of hero’s fighting against giant boss as shown on the picture but it not happening. It nothing like the picture it shown. It just a reskin of immortal idle and a reskin after reskin with few different touch. No characters design and the fight has no immersion. It would be better if the fight is not so flat. But nice job anyway.
I’ll just get right to the point. This game is ugly and looks nothing like any of the trailers or screenshots. I pre-registered in excitement but the joke is on me. There is no story given beyond basic tutorial explanation, the UI and text are microscopic, and the character art (which is supposed to be one of the biggest selling points) looks like cheap smudgy watercolor paint. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s AI generated. On the subject of graphics, they don’t even animate the characters movement. Just looping idle animations. It’s like a cardboard cutout sliding along the ground with little swirls of color representing “attacks”. It’s truly one of the ugliest games I’ve ever seen. Navigating menus is also poorly labeled, if labeled at all. Text runs off of the end of UI panes, and some icons / characters are chopped off partly on the edge of the screen. Don’t waste your time (and especially your money) on this convoluted mess. There are SO MANY BETTER options on the App Store. They could give me thousands of dollars in free in app purchases, and I still wouldn’t want to trudge through this slop.
I’m kinda disappointed with this game. Maybe because I had high expectations from it. I’ve been following the Chinese donghua since season 1 so I was hopeful when there’s a game for it! Even when they did a silly real life drama adaptation of it I was giving it that the side-eye. This game didn’t give me any reference to the actual donghua. The name for the master is butler nan? What?! Then it would’ve been great if there was a similar story too… you’ve quoted the infamous line he said when the girl embarrassed him… I would assume you know a little bit of the donghua. Even tho that line found in the first few episodes… This game is similar to those cultivating games that was a hit awhile back. Which is fine on its own, but please don’t make it any sort of connection to the donghua. I gave up after the first few minutes. I could be wrong and it gets better. Maybe I’ll revisit it again one day, just not now.
I played the game the moment the servers was released and the first two months were great however after the end it became extremely toxic. Sexist remarks, sexual harassment, death threats, and racism became rampant with admins being extremely incompetent and not banning offenders despite evidence being shown to them (unless you are a big spender), even then expect to wait at least three days and possibly a week for a response. The game doesn’t have a properly functioning block option, you can only block people from your server and not people from other servers. It was a good game but ruined because of a couple bad apples along with the lack of moderation and action from the administrator/support team.
The game obviously has a lot of things that you can buy, but you can get quite far without spending any money as well. There are plenty of things to do in the game or you can let it auto farm if you’re busy. Overall, it’s quite fun.
The game is perfect it The reason I downloaded it is because I’ve listen to an audiobook version of it and it really intriguing it very interesting so I wanted to try out the game because I’ve listened to the audiobook it makes it even better and enjoyable to play. The audiobook is on pocketfm
This game is a great cultivation simulator. You gather pill, weapon, armor, and artifact ingredients automatically in the world map and manually craft them with a waiting time after getting the correct recipe from the market or clan shop. Not as complex as Overmortal so far from what I’ve seen.
I’ve been waiting a long time for something like this to happen for the series. It may be the beginning buts it’s better than having nothing at all. Thank you creators of the game
