Baseball Hits '26 is the perfect middle ground between a complex simulation like MLB The Show and a pure arcade hitter. The game focuses heavily on the 'hit'—the tactile feel of connecting with a 98mph fastball is brilliantly executed through haptic feedback and crisp sound design. The 2026 update brings much-needed roster refreshes and, more importantly, a new 'Stadium Atmosphere' engine that makes the crowds feel alive and reactive to your performance.
The 'Road to Glory' career mode has been deepened, now including 'Off-Field' decisions that impact your player's morale and sponsorship deals. While the microtransactions for gear upgrades can feel a bit pushy, the core gameplay loop is strong enough that you don't need to spend money to enjoy the climb to the major leagues. It's fast, colorful, and captures the 'hero moment' of baseball better than almost any other mobile title on the market.

The ball will flash a specific color for a split second before the pitcher releases. Red indicates a fastball, while Blue indicates a curve. Learn these cues to prep your swing timing early.
Your player's 'Focus' bar depletes with every swing. If it gets too low, your 'Sweet Spot' shrinks. Take a few pitches to let the bar recharge and increase your chances of a home run.
Yes, the game supports both local pass-and-play and online multiplayer matches.
I’ve been waiting for a new version of this game for a couple years and I’m so happy it’s out! Updated graphics, updated players and ratings, but still like the older games! I do think the sim during games need’s updated and you should be able to cancel it. However I can’t wait to grind this game all of baseball season!
Definitely not Tap Baseball. 99% of hits are fielded or caught for an out. Very hard to win a single game after level 4. There’s only about 5 places the ball goes on the field regardless of if you swing early or late. Skill does not come into play. It’s like it’s predetermined where the ball is going before it’s even pitched. Would be great if they tweak the game with updates to make it better, but this version leaves A LOT to be improved upon. Oh and the camera angle is bunk. Every hit looks like a homer, only to end up being a pop fly out. And get ready to be disappointed with lack of HR’s. Virtually all balls hit to the wall are caught for an out. I would wait 6 months before you try this and hopefully it’s improved 👎
I’ve been enjoying the game mostly, some of the animations and base running choices are a little suspect, but those can be polished and fixed. However, the loot boxes make it hard to want to spend in the game. Getting a common player from a silver pack just feels terrible, and is reminiscent of when Destiny thought it was a good idea to have Purple items turn into Green. It feels even worse when I play 20 games to rank up and then get no rares from three packs. Until they make a change to that, I don’t think I’ll be playing again.
Regarding the hitting mechanics, I really wish there were some variation in power—perhaps determined by the timing or duration of the tap. As it stands, the gameplay consists solely of randomly hitting the ball and cycling through random wins and losses; it gets boring after just a few days. Even actions like stealing bases or bunting occur randomly, meaning you can't execute them exactly when you want to. Furthermore, even when you do hit a home run, there’s absolutely no sense of exhilaration. Given such lackluster content, the $9.99 price tag for the Season Pass is simply absurd.
So glad TAP Baseball is back I know it’s new but I need those old events back that allow you to get prime or special tier players through homerun or other events that was the best part of the previous games. also the boxes! I know it’s packs now which is fun and cool but I’d like the to be more easily attained so that the team can get stronger.
When you open the game it says you can trade in lower tier coins for higher ones. I click go and it takes me to the store but I don’t see an option to trade in those lower tier coins. Also, looking forward to an update where I can manually adjust my lineup. Otherwise the game is enjoyable
If I am in a championship game and am given a 20% chance to win and I play it 200 times I should be able to win at least once, unfortunately you will never win. This game is forcing you to spend actual money to progress and it’s a waste of time thinking you’ll eventually clear a part you’re stuck at. The global chat is goofy, the player animations are stiff, jerseys are lackluster and announcers, crowd chants and pitching mechanics are grating. Don’t bother and you’ll be better off.
The game is fun at first, but after about an hour it turns into a cash grab. Progression once in Pro tier slows down heavily unless you spend money. In clubs and events, whoever buys the most gold bars has a clear advantage and usually wins. It becomes less about skill and more about spending. Overall, it feels heavily pay to win and not worth the time if you are trying to compete seriously. Way better games to play and I recommend not wasting your time on this game.
