Performance improvements
Baseball Heroes is a lighthearted, hyper-casual take on America's favorite pastime. The game focuses entirely on the most exciting part of the sport: being the hero at the plate. You control a batter, and your goal is to time your swings to hit home runs and lead your team to victory. The controls are simple—just a tap and a slide—but the variety of pitches and the increasing speed make it a fun test of reflexes.
What makes the game enjoyable is the progression and customization. As you win games, you can upgrade your player's stats, buy better bats, and unlock a variety of funny and heroic outfits. It’s not a deep simulation like 'MLB The Show,' but it doesn't try to be. It’s colorful, fast-paced, and perfect for quick bursts of play. If you're looking for a low-stress baseball game with a sense of humor, this is a solid choice.
Simple one-touch controls
Deep player customization
Addictive progression system
Exciting tournament modes
Don't swing too early! Watch the ball's shadow on the ground rather than the ball itself to judge when it enters the strike zone.
Focus your early coins on 'Power.' The further you hit the ball, the more gold you earn per hit, making future upgrades much easier to achieve.
Yes, as you climb the leagues, you unlock new and more elaborate stadiums.
I was the other review and became very skeptical about this game but when I tried it, I really enjoyed it. You get to upgrade the pitcher and the hitter (both are very critical to upgrade) and you can unlock new jerseys, bats, etc. I enjoy the game it’s fun to waste time and it is pretty consistent.
The game starts off fine where it has little mini games to help you progress through levels and Upgrade your batter or pitcher, but that’s all that happens. You have a stadium that produces gems and you use those gems to upgrade the batter/pitcher and after that stadium is complete you don’t get another one. So you are stuck with that one stadium getting 2 gems a second and have to upgrade the batter/pitcher at 1000 gems each let alone not getting about 30-50 gems ever time you actually play the game. There isn’t any way to get ahead unless you watch ads. There is also different uniforms or areas that don’t help.
The overall game is great, it’s a simple yet addictive mobile game. That being said once you reach higher levels the game becomes almost unplayable due to many glitches/bugs. I will name some of the bugs in the hopes that the devs see this. There is one bug that locks you on the stadium screen until you restart the game. And another that if your finger isn’t on the screen when you hit the tnt it will launch you slightly before your ball completely stops mid air. But there are a lot more that I can’t remember.
Easy, simple, good control, fun, competitive,I’m just saying every time you swing it is blasting off in a brand new direction...then it’s all about control...every swing is different. Great job on making such a simple action into a ‘smash the ball and direct it’s trajectory to cash in on mega points and distance.’ You hit this one out of the ummmmm well park, city, state, country, haaa planet. Great job and thank you for keeping it simple yet extremely addictive. -Sincerely Nortradomis-
Ok so the first thing that is kind of annoying is that I have to turn off my wifi JUST to stop the adds. Now for the thing that REALLY GRINDS MY GEARS is that when I go to my stadium to get the jewels to upgrade and when I click it it doesn’t work. Then I start tapping it rapidly and it says “ bad throw 😭” and I’m like WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. So that’s a really broken thing. Those are my complaints and I hope they fix it fast enough to so,I don’t delete it.
So... I played the game for maybe 5 minutes, and it is just LITTERED with ads. After every single hit you do there is an ad, and there is no incentive to beat the levels. All you have to do is hit the ball 2 times to beat a level no matter the distance. I would say if you want your game to be more appealing maybe add an actual incentive to beating a level like having to hit a certain distance. Also, the bouncers do nothing from what I seen. I would land on a bouncer and it was as if i was just landing on some elevated ground not a trampoline.
I think this game is great. You get to upgrade your pitcher, batter and stadium which helps you hit farther and get more gems. The only thing I don’t like about this game is if you are playing for a long time an ad pops up on your screen and you ok can’t get it of without restarting the game. Overall I think this game is great and others should play it.
The games developers clearly budgeted 98% of their budget to ads and 2% to game development. A couple of apps I use often bombarded me with ads about this game. After a couple weeks, I gave it a shot. That was a mistake. For every 15 seconds of gameplay, there is 20-30 seconds of advertisements. That’s bad enough, but the game was just repetitive and devoid of challenge. Additionally, at this point it seems the developers may have abandoned the game.
