Assoluto Racing is arguably the best-handling sim-racer on mobile. Unlike many arcade racers that feel like you're driving on rails, Assoluto gives you a genuine sense of weight and traction. Taking a corner at the Nürburgring requires actual skill and proper braking zones. It’s a purist’s racing game.
The car list is impressive, featuring officially licensed brands like Toyota, BMW, and Nissan. The customization options are deep, allowing you to tune gear ratios, tire pressure, and suspension. While the graphics are good, it’s the physics engine that truly sets it apart. If you want a mobile game that actually feels like a simulator, this is the gold standard.
Advanced physics engine for realistic car handling
Officially licensed cars from Toyota, Nissan, BMW, and more
Iconic real-world tracks including the Nürburgring
Real-time online multiplayer racing
Extensive car tuning and customization options
To initiate a drift, enter a corner at speed and use a quick tap of the handbrake while counter-steering. Balancing the throttle is key—too much gas will spin you out, while too little will straighten the car up too early.
Before a race, enter the garage to adjust your car's camber, offset, and suspension stiffness. These settings are crucial for shaving seconds off your lap time on technical tracks like Tsukuba Circuit.
Yes, Assoluto Racing supports most MFi-certified controllers for a more console-like experience.
To start off I’m a very big fan of this game, I love everything about it and truly think it’s one of the best racing games you can get on a phone! The physics are great, the car list is great, the modifications are great, the tracks are great. Some things I would love to see is more car customization such as body kits and more color options, along with this is more tuning options such as spring hardness, gear ratios, turbos on NA cars, etc. I would love more touge maps or at least a super long one the drifting is so great and the touge map is just too short! I’d also like to be able to choose more cars for the AI to use in the custom mode, I’d also love to see a true hot lap mode with endless laps that tells you your best lap time. I’d also like to see more cars added but this isn’t too much of an issue bc the car selection is great to start with. It would also be nice to have a fully modeled interior for every car. Nonetheless My biggest complaints are the times in the challenges, most of them are way too hard, in the “unmodified F and D class cars” category the qualifying time for the Nurburgring is 9 mins which is frankly impossible unmodified (I finally got it with a 320hp fully upgraded civic type R). Another problem is the lack of sensitivity settings, I use the steering wheel control setup and I think that the steering wheel is just too twitchy so I wish I could turn the sensitivity down a bit. Overall it’s a great game and I hope you guys keep updating it with more great stuff!
Having just finished Gran Turismo 2, I was in need of something else I could hopefully play here and there on the go that scratches my racing itch. While I don’t spend enormous lumps of time playing Assoluto Racing with my life schedule being busy, I enjoy every moment of it. The level of detail, the driving dynamics, the sounds, the collection of vehicles, and a reasonable in-game economy with which to earn and purchase cars, upgrades, and cosmetics are all keeping me coming back. One thing that does annoy me slightly which seems like a nice update down the road is to have the map more clearly indicate which path is the correct one when a track has multiple paths. It can be rather annoying trying a challenge run for the first time and being on a roll but then getting to branching paths and not knowing for sure which to take until you’ve taken the wrong one and it finally lets you know you’re going the wrong way. If the path you shouldn’t take could either be colored on the map to indicate its being excluded from that race or visible barriers are placed on the track, that would be a nice touch to reduce frustrations. Overall, I’m very thrilled with the game so far and am enjoying the learning curve and familiarity having played multiple GT and Forza titles.
It’s taken me a while to write this well deserved review, but here it is. This is EASILY the best and most realistic driving simulator available on iPhone. It is (as far as I know) the only one that allows you to shift the gears manually, and is one of very few that lets you customize the performance of the cars to the level of adjusting the gear ratios, adjusting the suspension, anti roll bars, and even tire pressure. The only thing that this simulator is lacking is a larger amount of vehicles, and I’d like to point out that the amount of cars is currently has is amazing, it just could be better. For instance, I would love to see more supercar brands in the game, like Lamborghini, Ferrari, and I’d REALLY like to see some Koenigseggs get added. The other thing that could possibly be improved, and again, I’d like to point out that it is already amazing, but could still be improved, is more diverse and realistic car sounds. Again, the way the sounds currently work with the RPM is already super realistic, I’d just like to see more diverse sounds between cars. Now, before I end this review, I’d again like to point out that the game is amazing as is, and is already the best simulator on the App Store, it just has some things that could be made better than they already are.
I personally love playing this game. I love the graphics and the physics and the pretty dang good car selection. However there is one big issue(for me) with the car selection in this game. You can't buy half of it. Pretty much all of the cool and nice cars cost gold coins, and the only main way of getting gold coins(once you've completed all "campaign races") is either buying them, or watching ads to get one single coin at a time. I just checked out the new update that came with 3 new cars: the BMW M1, and the new Supra and a race spec version of the new Supra. So I go into the dealership to check out the price and boom, none of the new cars are available to buy with cash. Meaning you can't even grind the game in order to obtain them. The only way to get them at that point, like I said before is buying them or watching ads. I've already put a lot of time and money into this game, and don't think it's fair to the people like me who can't even obtain the cars without having to spend even more money on it. I have no problem with supporting a game, however I shouldn't have to spend more money on it every time there is an update so I can get the new cars.
This game is very great and I love that this update I have received every McLaren. First time ever getting all the new cars lol. But, what this game could use is some sort of system where we could trade certain Exotic import duplicates for cars we aren’t receiving, from the Exotic Imports. For example, what I really want from one of your previous updates is the Rocket Bunny s13, but I can’t seem to get that after spending about 5,000 coins on Exotic Imports. I’m not mad about it, but I just wish there was a way to balance out the Exotic Import system to receive cars that are not in my garage, rather than having duplicates. It would be cool if we could CHOOSE and TRADE (within that class/tier) a higher Tier car from Exotic Imports for multiple lower Tier cars and vice versa. Just to make it fair I guess. I understand that AR makes money from Exotic Imports but save yourself the trouble by doing this! Shoot, I think it would be even better to put some of your older Exotic Imports into the Token section where Events are played. Do that to create some room for us to obtain more of the NEWER Exotic Imports. That way, Tokens can now have more of a reason to be worked for. Oh and uhh....slide some new rims in the Token area with the cars, I got all the rims from Exotic Imports. Last thing, more tracks. Just more tracks that can be drifted on and raced on. Love your game AR!
I praise this game as the ultimate Grand Turismo IOS app. This is the ONLY phone game I have kept & used actively for over 6 years. The attention to detail and the impeccable physics keeps me excited to test over 100+ cars on over 15 tracks. The sheer number of cars to work with keeps a pleasant challenge and excitement. I am fortunate to have most of the easily available cars (after a lot of grinding and hoarding gold for exotic imports) and I’m happy with my range of different types of cars. The modifications are simple yet accurately affect each car differently. The map and mode selection is simple but effective. There are a few things left to be desired however. I wish multiplayer was more reliable (connectivity issues for “quick” races/drift sessions) and the ability to acquire new vehicles/ game modes are time consuming and cumbersome. I wish there were different ( not easier) ways to collect gold and credit besides challenges and series. While many stock versions of vehicles are available to purchase with credits or gold (one is easy to collect & the latter is much more difficult) there are a LOT of vehicles seemingly hidden behind a paywall. I wish there were alternatives (or more frequent/ specific events) to collect the more exotic variants of the available cars.
So overall it’s a good game I like the physics and graphics and the car list is decent. However the way to get imports is a total scam at this point. I read the thing about the drop rates for each tier of car and that’s cool, what they don’t say is all the special event cars like McLaren and Porsche for example you’ll never be able to get since those events are no longer live maybe they’ll come back in the future or something but as of now it’s basically impossible. I only got this game to get a McLaren 720s and race online against my friends who also downloaded the game but nope. After deciding to spend a nice amount of money to at least get 1 nice super car, however I didn’t get one actually good car just a few low end cars a couple cars I’ll never use at (17 cars in total) and an insane amount of freaking paints that I’ll never use!! I could use in game money to buy paint why force me to use coins that should be going to cars?? I feel like I got scammed and the fact that I just wanna delete the game after playing everyday for hours is a shame. I hope someone does something about this so new players don’t get their hopes up and spend over a hundred dollars to get a car they want to race with only to feel cheated in the end.
I have played the game for a few days now and i really really like it. The physics i feel are great for mobile: not so advanced that it’s impossible to control the car due to lack of precise controls, but not very arcadey, and the cars sound and feel good. The music is nice, it kind of reminds me of gran turismo music. The rally mode is very fun. And i think the option to tune and modify your cars makes it a lot more fun. Some things I don’t like: the menus require polish. I’ve had a few bugs in the menus here and there. Nothing too serious, but still something that should be fixed. I feel that the rally co-driver’s pace notes sometimes are too slow. I mainly rally on a modified impreza and it’s so fast that, mostly in the Australia stage, i was running off the track because the co-driver’s call was late and i didn’t have time to slow down, even with racing brakes. One last thing: the AI Drivers are dumb beyond belief... before, i was wondering why there were no ai drivers in the career modes, but after racing against them, i found out why. They don’t know how to drive any car. This means they don’t know when to brake: which results in them running off track or understeering off if the didn’t brake before. Next, they don’t know how to stabilize the car, what i mean by this is that they will accelerate, and if they feel that they are going to spin, they stop accelerating and turn the other way, but then accelerate that way, so again they turn the back the other way, and they end up wasting like 5 seconds because of it. In fact, i once had to wait a whole 2 minutes after a race because the ai just couldn’t control the RUF Yellowbird i’d put it in at all.
