Anodia: Unique Brick Breaker is a breath of fresh air in a genre that often feels stagnant. Instead of just breaking rows of rectangles, Anodia presents you with 'levels' that are essentially works of art. You might be breaking a field of lightbulbs, a school of fish, or a cluster of gears. This visual variety makes every stage feel like a new experience rather than just another level. The physics are bouncy and predictable, which is the cornerstone of any good brick breaker.
The power-up system is where the 'Unique' in the title really shines. With over 20 different power-ups—ranging from gravity fields that pull the ball to destructive lasers—the gameplay is constantly shifting. The game rewards both precision and chaos. The graphics are crisp and full of color, and the touch controls for the paddle are incredibly responsive. It's easily one of the most creative and polished 'Arkanoid' style games ever made for mobile.
150+ unique handcrafted levels
Over 20 diverse power-ups
Stunning high-definition graphics
Real-time physics and destructible environments
Not all power-ups are good! Watch out for the 'Shrink' and 'Gravity' icons that can make controlling the ball significantly harder. Prioritize the 'Multi-Ball' to clear complex screens quickly.
Anodia offers two control styles: 'Follow' where the paddle stays under your finger, and 'Tilt' for a more traditional arcade challenge. Choose the one that fits your playstyle in the settings.
Yes, certain levels feature large moving structures that act as bosses, requiring specific strategies to dismantle.
The levels range from crest to dull, I enjoyed most of them, I have one problem. WHY IS THERE A SPACE FOR A 4th level pack that’s not available, like why, either move the “like anodia? tap here!” button to the bottom of the screen, addthe demo exclusive levels in or make the 4th level pack, because it just looks awkward in its current state.
This is one of the more challenging brick breaker games I’ve played. Had it for years! It’s also been about 7 years since there’s been an update. Sadness. But it still works on iPhone 13 with iOS 15.
This is my go to game when I have an extra few minutes to kill!
This is a very weird version of Arkanoid for Nintendo. The levels don't really seem to have any rhyme or reason in terms of design or why they were made that way and have no continuity. The controls are also a little off and more than a few times I wasn't able to slide across the screen quick enough due to lag or sluggishness. I have an NES emulator on my iPad so I guess it's back to Arkanoid, the original brick breaker.
I enjoyed playing this game. But it does not have landscape mode on an iPhone. That for me was a dealbreaker. I will not continue to play this game. Updated review: I did keep playing this game because the game mechanics are fun. It is a good game to pick up for a few minutes.
Too and the new version isn’t nearly as good. I wish this one would get updated with more levels.
This game is like the old breakout game, but has a lot more twists and interesting graphics. A must have entertaining game!
So I used to play a lot then I tried one day it wouldn’t work I couldn’t control it then I took my fingers off my phone and it just went on it’s own then a day later I tried again I thought it was a glitch but nope
