Pretty good, could be improved.

I fly real rc helicopters. The sim with no autopilot turned on is about like flying without a gyro. With expert mode ap on, its pretty close to a modern rc Heli. Needs more control over on screen controls like expo, etc. Pretty good for the price though. Add on heli models should be priced lower in my opinion. $1 each would work.

Great app!!!

I flew real R/C helis from tiny electrics to 60 and 90 size glow plus a Bell Ranger scale 60 machine. That was 25-30 years ago. I also finished 1st - Sportsman, 1988 Nats, 2nd - Expert, 1989 Nats and 1st - Masters, 1990 Nats in Pattern Fixed wing Aerobatics. Since then a busy career took me away from R/C but I got back into helis a few years ago. This app is amazing considering the price! The sim action in expert mode is very real and can give you hours and hours of safe practice. Beginners can fly safely with AP mode on while getting the basics understood in all orientations. My compliments to the developers on doing a great job! James McMasters Irving, Texas

RC Junky's Quick Fix

This 4-channel RC Helicopter sim (also does planes and boats with in-app purchase) is a nice little escape when you need a quick afternoon break from reality. Simple, straight to the point, and very beginner friendly. Also entertaining for advanced flyers and enthusiasts alike. The developers even threw in some optional interactive objects such as tables, boxes, and jars that you can push around or land on. Physics are close enough that it can help you practice, but given that its a touch screen and lacks the ability to interface with an actual transmitter, don't expect this to be anything like Phoenix, RealFlight, or ClearView. The only complaint that I have is that the yaw (rudder) sensitivity is always either too high or too low. Whereas the elevator/aileron control seems pretty much spot on. (I think that might be solvable if they added user options for customizing the control input sensitivity.) All-in-all, this truly is a fine little pocket sized, RC simulator. If you are unable to fly the real thing for some reason or another, you now can get your 'fix' wherever and whenever you need it!

Best sim for my iPad, hands down

Close to real as you can get

Leaves a lot to be desired

Very limited, less customizable than many other sims. Disappointed I spent $5 on it

Not so good

Purchased this app along with an extra helicopter model. The sound doesn’t always work in this app and it just isn’t that great of an app. Sometimes the plane or helicopter just decides to freak out. I want a refund please.

Works good

On the iPhone 4s I see a "trial copy" in the bottom right of the screen is this a bug? The sim is really awesome especially with a jailbroken iPhone, BluTrol and an icontrolpad. (you can play with a joystick/gamepad) A bug seems to exist where the system time/signal bars/battery indicator bar covers up the controls at the top of the screen. Maybe this will look different on my iPad? The desktop version is amazing and this is a great port of that version. Can't wait for future updates!
