Enhancing the Gameplay Experience
ASMR Makeover: Makeup Games is a premium example of the 'satisfying transformation' genre. It blends the creativity of a makeup simulation with the high-fidelity audio cues of ASMR, making the process of 'fixing' a client feel incredibly rewarding. The app covers everything from skincare routines and pimple popping (strangely satisfying!) to high-fashion makeup application.
The visuals are crisp, allowing you to see the fine details of the skin textures, and the sound of the brushes and sponges is perfectly mixed. What makes it stand out is the variety of clients—each has a unique backstory and a specific 'problem' to solve, which provides a bit more narrative weight than a standard makeup app. It’s a very relaxing, creative experience that works equally well for fans of beauty games and those looking for a digital stress-reliever.
High-fidelity ASMR audio
Detailed skincare simulation
Huge variety of makeup products
Engaging client storylines
Always start with the 'Deep Cleanse' phase. Applying makeup over blemishes reduces your final score. Use the spatial audio to hear when a treatment is 'done'—the sound of the sponge or brush will change to a softer tap when the product is fully blended.
Pay attention to the client's eye color and outfit. Using complementary colors (like gold for blue eyes) provides a significant 'Star Bonus' at the end of the session, which is used to unlock premium cosmetic brands.
Yes, new 'Holiday' and 'Red Carpet' events are added every month with exclusive makeup palettes and outfits.
This app is amazing! The sound are very accurate! If you hate how ads play after every step in some games this is the game for you! During each makeover there are two adds! And when you finish the make over there is one more add then you can start your next project. Compared to other game I have played this app is a winner! The app is so much fun! You get to make your own makeup looks! And the app is so good it even shows you a before and a after! Other games I had definitely did not show me a before and after. I love how this apps lets you show your creativity! I would recommend this app for 6 and older! I think you should definitely get this app it is 100 percent free! This app was the right choice for me hope it will be the right choice for you!!! If you have little kids playing this some ads are going to pop up that might be inappropriate. But all apps that have ads do have the risk that they might see inappropriate ads. Just wanted to warn you in case that might change your mind of installing this app! Bye hope you like this app!!!😄😄😄
This game has gorgeous graphics and its so satisfying you get to help people who need it do there makeup and dress them up (etc). You get different characters in different scenarios each time. And the BEST part is it’s FREE and there are BARLEY any Adds! At first before I downloaded this app I thought it would be like an “it’s okay game” but I was wrong it’s so addicting. Please download this game it’s sooo good and it’s appropriate for children. Dear game maker thanks so much for this amazing game it has been such a good experience.
I love this game and it’s really satisfying, my younger siblings love it, but when we were playing the game it said a bad word. I was concerned since the game says ages 4+ and I was confused why such an inappropriate thing would happen. Also a lot of people are complaining about the ads, I don’t mind them except, some of the ads are inappropriate as well, ads like episode pop up and I’m concerned for the little kids that might accidentally download the app thinking it’s like the one they are playing since that ad popped up while playing this game. I know the creators really don’t have much control over this but I’m just letting people be aware before they let their kids download this. I will continue to let my siblings play this game but only when highly supervised.
Don’t get me wrong, this game is still fun, but as some others may have, I saw this game by adds. I thought it looked fun so I downloaded it. The add basically showed people cleaning off previous makeup, cleaning up their acne, black heads, ect ect, and then doing their makeup again. It is somewhat similar to the add, but not in others. If the add was the same as the game, I would have given it at least four stars, maybe five. There is also an unnecessary amount of adds, but it seems that more and more games are basically turning into advertisement for additional games. But, I do not recommend for people who do not like adds, because by the time they finish one persons makeup, they will be in a full on rage because there was so many adds.
I really enjoy this game A LOT. It is very calming and relaxing to me and I adore dressing the characters up, but one issue I have, is the fact that there is SO many ads. I get an ad after EVERY single step and it is so annoying!!!! There is NO need for this many ads and it is unacceptable and it’s ruining my game experience and my time to relax due to the ads frustrating me, I just want to enjoy the game. Another thing I would like to ad is the fact that your FORCED to put makeup on the man. I have no problem with men wearing makeup, but I would LOVE for me not to make the guy look gay, or at least not have him look girly. Once again I have no problem with men wanting to be girly or wear makeup, but my point is I wish there was just more masculine options for the men instead of just weird makeup looks that you are forced to do. Overall I really enjoy the game and it is very relaxing. But my issues are: WAY TO MANY ADS!! And NO MASCULINE OPTIONS FOR THE MAN. Please do not hesitate to read my concerns and fix them! Thank you!! 🩷
So this game is perfect for when you don’t like how many adds in between each step. It shows you a smooth blending through every product and it’s mostly like the adds! Obviously, it’s not so super realistic, but it’s pretty darn good for a mobile game. This game also doesn’t finish the makeup for you such as other games where you are still blending foundation or such and it just completes it before you are done. I’m a pretty satisfied with this game and if you like doing makeup, I think you’ll like this game!
This was a amazing game. I spent money to get rid of ads and got a refund when I deleted then installed the game again. There is only about 2-3 ads each lever (unless you choose to watch one) and one ad after you finish. I recommend it if you want I time waster. And if you really like this game and open to spend money get rid of the ads like I did. Overall do recommend.
It’s off-putting to give the models such beautiful eye colors, then force me to choose an unnaturally colored contact lens. Basically ruins the game for me - this should be a skippable step so we can work with the natural eye colors instead. I also hate how the models appear to be cartoon versions of real celebrities, it’s very creepy. I can’t imagine it would be that hard to generate characters from stock photos or (gasp) the creators’ imaginations instead. I don’t understand why the same items/styles aren’t available to me every time, even if I bought them. Limiting the options is unrealistic (isn’t this my makeup “business”?) and limits the player’s creativity too. I appreciate that there is some race and gender diversity in the models but would love even more and to see body size diversity as well. Creating looks for very different faces and occasions is what’s fun. Overall, there are some good elements to this game but it doesn’t keep me hooked for these reasons.
