Art of Fighting 2 in its ACA NEOGEO form is a spectacular restoration of a fighting game legend. For fans of SNK's history, this is a must-have. The difficulty is notoriously high—true to its 1994 arcade roots—but the addition of modern conveniences like quick save/load and virtual pad customization makes it much more accessible on a smartphone.

The revamped Rage Gauge and the inclusion of weak/strong attacks add a level of depth that was revolutionary for its time. Visually, the sprite work remains beautiful, and the ability to tweak screen settings to replicate that old-school CRT feel is a wonderful touch. It’s a hardcore fighter that respects its legacy while providing a smooth mobile interface.
