99 Nights In The Forest Horror is a masterclass in building tension with limited resources. It’s a survival-puzzle game that feels genuinely unsettling without relying on cheap jump scares. The '99 nights' premise creates a great sense of dread—each night you survive feels like a hard-won victory. The mechanics of placing traps and light sources to keep the 'forest things' at bay is deeply satisfying and requires real strategic thinking.
The audio design is what really sells it. The rustling of leaves, distant snaps of twigs, and the eerie silence of the deep forest make for a very immersive experience. It’s not just about surviving; it’s about the mystery of the forest itself. You solve environmental puzzles to find clues about why you’re there and how to escape. It’s a dark, atmospheric journey that will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you like horror games that favor 'creepy' over 'gory,' this is a must-play.
Intense survival-horror puzzle mechanics
Atmospheric 3D sound design
Branching narrative with multiple 'escape' endings
Strategic resource and light management
Chilling enemy designs and environmental storytelling
Your first priority is gathering fuel for your campfire. Use the daylight hours to explore the immediate area and set simple branch traps. As the sun sets, stay close to the light—being in the dark for too long will raise your 'Fear Meter' and make puzzles much harder to solve.
The core gameplay involves using lanterns and mirrors to redirect light into the dark corners of the forest. This reveals hidden items and scares away shadows. Each night, the forest layout changes slightly, requiring you to adapt your strategy and think on your feet.
The game focuses on atmospheric dread and psychological horror, though there are tense moments when your light sources fail!
I die but it’s fun it’s not fun when there are ads or when you just die 4 stars I don’t really play it that much
Same as other reviews, it looks good but after just a few seconds it says you died and makes you watch another ad. It did the same thing to my son who tried 10 different times and it did the same thing to him. This is a waist of your time Developers you should make the game better and people will want to play. Kids and adults would watch the ads and keep playing if you actually let them play the game longer than a few seconds before you kill them.
I got on the game and after a few seconds it made me feel like I was being watched and then it made me Die I said oh well I’ll restart but NO it did it again !!!ok ok sorry for being rude but it’s not my first time it had done that
As soon as I loaded in it was really realistic and I thought that was cool but as soon as I went to explore I instantly died so I tried again thinking it was a glitch but as soon as it hit 22 seconds it said you failed and this is probably the worst app ever don’t download I suggest reading the other reviews to and there is way to many adds
It looks to be a lot like 99 nights from Roblox but it’s awful, you can’t chop down trees, there are so many ads, and you die almost instantly, I got it, played it, and deleted it in the same day because it was so bad, just, look for something other than this.. don’t get fooled like most do.
I didn’t even have time to play You are in the middle of a dark forest the camp fire is useless even if you are standing on the fire it just takes a few seconds then the game tells you that you died without seeing the deer or any wolfs Don’t try it . It’s a waste of time
All of the positive reviews are faked and the game is trash absolutely trash. The Roblox version is better and will always be better and I’m surprised on how they’re not being sued for copyright infringement from the owners of 99 nights. Will be contacting them about this.
This game is horrible! And I actually mean it as soon as I logged in it was night and I died 30 seconds later I tried one more time and I died 34 seconds later I died again I actually don’t know how to play this game it’s horrible I’m deleting it
