Updated the database and the ui.
Sportrix is the ultimate 'Immaculate Grid' style challenge for North American sports fans. If you pride yourself on knowing which MLB player bounced from the Red Sox to the Dodgers, or which NBA journeyman won a ring with three different teams, this app is your new obsession. The grid format is intuitive, and the rules—like a player counting if they played just one game for a team—are fair and standard for the genre.
The addition of the 'Time Game' mode is where Sportrix really differentiates itself. Trying to fill as many cells as possible in two minutes is an incredible rush that tests your recall under pressure. The database is surprisingly deep, covering MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL with accuracy. The 'Unlimited Guesses Mode' is a great feature for those who want to learn rather than just be punished for a wrong answer. It’s a clean, focused app for the serious sports nerd.

Look at the requirements for a cell's row and column (e.g., 'Lakers' and 'Celtics'). Type in a player who played for both franchises. Remember, a player only needs to have played one game for a team to count!
In Time Game mode, you have exactly two minutes to complete as many grids as possible. Speed is key, but accuracy is required to keep your streak alive and climb the leaderboards.
No, each player can only be used once per grid, making the puzzle more challenging.
I enjoy the game but am repeatedly frustrated by numerous bugs. NFL games frequently don’t recognize relocated teams. For instance, I needed someone who played for the Colts and Rams. Bert Jones was the answer and it’s correct but the game marked it incorrect because he only played for the Colts in Baltimore, not Indianapolis. In similar circumstances, the answer of Earl Campbell as a guy who played for the Titans and Saints was incorrectly marked wrong because he played for the Titans while they were the Houston Oilers. Meanwhile, an NBA game required a player who had at least 1,500 points and 600 rebounds in a season with no team specification. Wilt Chamberlain was inexplicably marked as an incorrect answer. The game is fun regardless but will be more fun when these errors and other similar ones are fixed.
Even though this is an obvious rip of hoop grid, has a scoring system that makes little to no sense, and has straight up inaccurate data like not recognizing Sandy Koufax as a triple crown winner for the Dodgers, it was still a fun game that offered a variety of challenge across the four sports. Rather than fixing these issues, the developers decided it was better to cut corners like not including team logos anymore and introducing an ad wall after every grid. My biggest gripe with the old game was using thee same five statistic categories and I was hoping they’d expand on it, but sadly they’re more interested in ad revenue for a game that is too clunky and unpolished to justify it.
Awesome app. One per day of immaculate grid is not enough, and infinite grid is no longer up and did not have stats. Like other reviews, this needs updated to current year. Also, I’ve noticed multiple times where correct answers are marked as incorrect. Not sure if it is a glitch concerning players who only played on one team. For example, I had Yankees and gold glove. Both Don Mattingly (9) and Ron Guidry (5) were marked red.
So this game is really fun don’t get me wrong, but I want you to do one thing to it. So I think every year you update the game, here is why. First is that we’re almost in 2026 and this is based of 2023. So if I answer something correctly it will say I’m wrong because it happened in 2025. So to keep up with the time. And pls add more players, because people like D.K metcalf and A.J brown are not in it . So pls just update your game once in a while.
I like the game, me and my buddy play grids all the time so this is a game where we have unlimited games to play all day. But the one thing I think is you need to add more stat categories to all sport. We mostly play football and we are mostly guessing the same players over and over which is taking out the fun for the game. But overall thanks for having a grid that allows people to play everyday.
I do love playing the game but it’s frustrating that players on teams in the current year are considered wrong answers. There also many instances where you are told you’re wrong when the players definitely played at least a year on each time. Once that is updated this will be even better
I don’t understand why the rarity percentages are just random numbers. Like I know that nobody is guessing zack littell for giants rays or ian gibaut for rays reds. Maybe that isn’t the rarity percentage but it’s frustrating. Some hard work and changes could make this game amazing and I understand it’s hard to build a concept like this but a couple updates and changes could result in so many more downloads.
Okay what we need to understand is that this is made in 2023 and we still haven’t made or heard of an updated version coming out, and its not fair that this is how the game is played, it should be able to be present day and the past. It’s now 2025 and we still don’t have it . You should make un updated version or else i’m done playing this game.
