Thanks for playing Letterfull and sorry for the wait!
Letterfull is a minimalist's dream in the crowded word-puzzle genre. It strips away the flashy animations and 'kingdom building' meta-games found in many word apps, focusing entirely on the purity of the grid. You are tasked with filling a board with words that must intersect correctly, similar to a jigsaw-crossword hybrid.
What I appreciate most is the 'infinite' feel of the game—it scales beautifully from tiny 3x3 warm-ups to massive, brain-bending 10x10 grids. The dictionary is well-curated, avoiding the obscure or archaic words that often make these games feel unfair. It’s a meditative experience, perfect for a commute or a quiet morning. If you enjoy games like 'Wordscapes' but want something cleaner and more focused on spatial logic, Letterfull is an excellent addition to your folder.
Hundreds of unique word-filling puzzles
Minimalist and distraction-free visual design
Intuitive drag-and-drop word placement
Relaxing, no-pressure gameplay with no timers
Vocabulary-building challenges for all levels
Start by placing the longest words first. These act as 'anchors' for the rest of the grid, limiting the possible positions for smaller words and making the overall solution much easier to visualize. If you're stuck, look for letters that are only present in two of the given words; that intersection is likely a required placement.
As you progress, the grids become larger and the number of overlapping letters increases. Pay attention to the 'Expert' levels—these often feature multiple words that could fit in several spots, requiring you to think ahead and ensure you don't block the final words from the grid.
Yes, you can use the 'Lightbulb' icon to reveal the correct position of one word in the grid.
If you like Accessible Hangman, you will for sure like this game. This most certainly gave Gaming Guru something to talk about on Medium. Check out my blog. I blogged about Letterfull.
